Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil over high heat.
  • Add the pig's feet and boil for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse the pig's feet under cold water to remove any impurities.
  • In the same pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  • Return the pig's feet to the pot. Add the star anise, cinnamon stick, soy sauce, rice wine, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the pig's feet are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
