Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
- Place the bacon slices on the grill and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading BBQ sauce on the bottom half of each bun, then adding a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a grilled burger patty with melted cheese, 2 slices of bacon, and some red onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
