- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 4 sheets of nori (seaweed)
- 2 cups sushi rice, cooked
- 2 large cucumbers, julienned
- Soy sauce, for dipping
- Pickled ginger, for serving
- Wasabi, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, soy sauce, and rice vinegar until well combined.
- Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat, shiny side down.
- Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
- Place a line of julienned cucumber along the bottom edge of the rice.
- Add a line of the tuna mixture next to the cucumber.
- Using the bamboo mat, roll the nori tightly over the filling, using a bit of water to seal the edge.
- Slice the roll into 6-8 pieces using a sharp knife.
- Repeat with the remaining nori, rice, cucumber, and tuna mixture.
- Serve the tuna cucumber rolls with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
