Sushi Bowl

Ingredients
- 2 cups of sushi rice, cooked
- 1/2 cup of rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 pound of sushi-grade raw salmon, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pound of sushi-grade raw tuna, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1/4 cup of pickled ginger
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- 2 nori seaweed sheets, cut into thin strips
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Heat over low heat, stirring until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Divide the cooked sushi rice between two serving bowls.
- Arrange the sliced salmon, sliced tuna, avocado, and julienned cucumber on top of the rice in each bowl.
- Drizzle the rice vinegar mixture over the sushi bowls.
- Garnish with pickled ginger, nori seaweed strips, and sesame seeds.
- Serve with soy sauce on the side.
