  • 1/2 pound of sushi-grade raw salmon, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound of sushi-grade raw tuna, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1/4 cup of pickled ginger
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • 2 nori seaweed sheets, cut into thin strips

  • 2 nori seaweed sheets, cut into thin strips

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Heat over low heat, stirring until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Divide the cooked sushi rice between two serving bowls.
  • Arrange the sliced salmon, sliced tuna, avocado, and julienned cucumber on top of the rice in each bowl.
  • Drizzle the rice vinegar mixture over the sushi bowls.
  • Garnish with pickled ginger, nori seaweed strips, and sesame seeds.
  • Serve with soy sauce on the side.
