Ingredients

  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, toss 1 pound of large shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the lemon slices in the bottom of a steamer basket.
  • Arrange the seasoned shrimp on top of the lemon slices.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of water into the bottom of the steamer pot and bring to a boil.
  • Place the steamer basket with the shrimp over the boiling water, cover, and steam for 5 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Drizzle the steamed shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
