Ingredients
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 lb of ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning to the cooked ground beef and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
- On a large baking sheet, spread out 1 bag of tortilla chips in an even layer.
- Sprinkle the seasoned ground beef evenly over the tortilla chips.
- Top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos, and 1/4 cup chopped green onions over the melted cheese.
- Drizzle 1/4 cup of sour cream and 1/4 cup of salsa over the nachos.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
