Ingredients
- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add sour cream, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, chives, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the cooked noodles to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the kugel.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the kugel is set.
