Ingredients
- 1 cup of old-fashioned oats
- 2 cups of milk

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of old-fashioned oats and 2 cups of milk. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Once the oats and milk are simmering, reduce the heat to low and stir in 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin puree, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal is thick and creamy.
- Divide the pumpkin spice oatmeal into two bowls.
- Top each bowl of oatmeal with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
