  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 4 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 French baguette
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the chopped parsley and continue to cook for another minute. Remove from heat.
  • Slice the French baguette into 1-inch thick slices. Spread the garlic butter mixture onto each slice.
  • Place the garlic bread slices on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve the sated over cooked rice with the garlic bread on the side. Enjoy!
