Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 head cabbage, chopped
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown 1 lb of ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of uncooked white rice and chopped cabbage. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in 6 cups of beef broth, 1 can of diced tomatoes, and 2 tbsp of tomato paste. Season with 1 tsp of paprika, 1/2 tsp of dried thyme, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rice and cabbage are tender.
