Ingredients
- 1 package of seitan, sliced into strips
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup of snow peas
- 1/2 cup of sliced carrots
- 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced seitan to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, snow peas, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
