Ingredients
- 4 croissants
- 8 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, or thyme)
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Slice the croissants in half lengthwise, but do not separate the halves completely.
- In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise.
- Spread the Dijon-mayo mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Layer 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Sprinkle the chopped fresh herbs over the cheese.
- Close the croissants and brush the tops with melted butter.
- Place the croissants on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden brown.
