Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) of firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to make the marinade.
- Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and place them in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the tofu, gently toss to coat, and let it marinate for 30 minutes, turning the tofu halfway through.
- In a separate bowl, combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 2 tablespoons sesame seeds. Toss the marinated tofu in the cornstarch mixture until evenly coated.
- Arrange the tofu cubes on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Lightly spray the tofu with cooking spray.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the tofu halfway through, until the tofu is crispy and golden brown.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot. Enjoy!
