Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken feet
- 8 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the chicken feet to the boiling water and blanch for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse the chicken feet under cold water.
- In the same pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced ginger. Cook until fragrant.
- Return the blanched chicken feet to the pot. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Pour in enough water to cover the chicken feet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until the chicken feet are tender.
- Once the chicken feet are tender, add the chopped green onions and sesame oil. Stir well and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot and enjoy!
