Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/4-inch thickness
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese and 1 slice of ham on each chicken breast. Roll up and secure with toothpicks.
  • Spread Dijon mustard over the chicken breasts.
  • In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly. Place in the prepared baking dish.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the chicken breasts.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear.
  • While the chicken is baking, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, lemon juice, and milk. Cook and stir until heated through.
  • Once the chicken is done, remove toothpicks and pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
