Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine 2 pounds of ground wild boar meat, 1 finely chopped onion, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a greased loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the spicy BBQ glaze. In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of hot sauce, and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the glaze is heated through and slightly thickened.
