Italian

Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks with extra cheese have a rich history rooted in Italian culinary traditions. Originating in the Campania region, these delectable breadsticks were first crafted by skilled chefs in the bustling kitchens of Naples. The dish gained popularity in the United States during the 20th century, where it evolved to include an abundance of gooey, melted cheese. Today, the best versions of this dish can be found in authentic Italian pizzerias and restaurants that stay true to the original recipe. The key to perfecting this dish lies in the quality of the cheese and the balance of garlic-infused flavors. For a twist, some chefs incorporate alternative methods such as using a blend of different cheeses or adding herbs for an extra burst of flavor. Whether enjoyed as an appetizer or a side dish, these Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks with extra cheese are a true indulgence for cheese lovers.
