Instructions

  • Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.

  • Lay a bamboo sushi mat on a clean surface and place a sheet of nori on top, shiny side down.
  • Wet your hands and grab a handful of sushi rice, spreading it evenly over the nori, leaving a 1-inch gap at the top.
  • Spread a thin layer of the spicy tuna filling over the rice, then carefully roll the sushi using the bamboo mat, applying gentle pressure to shape it into a tight cylinder.
  • Slice the roll into 8 equal pieces and set them aside.
  • Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on the bamboo mat and place the avocado slices on top, then cover with another sheet of plastic wrap and gently press to form a thin layer of avocado.
  • Carefully invert the sushi roll onto the avocado-covered plastic wrap, so the rice is on top.
