Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 3 stalks lemongrass, white parts only, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the beef with 1 tbsp fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the lemongrass and garlic, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and bell pepper, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Return the beef to the wok, add the remaining 1 tbsp of fish sauce, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve hot with steamed rice.
