Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
- Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the grill and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve the Cajun grilled shrimp with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the shrimp before eating.
