Ingredients
- 4 whole blue crabs, cleaned and halved
- 1/2 cup of Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of hot sauce
- 1/2 cup of chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning with olive oil to form a paste.
- Rub the Cajun seasoning paste all over the cleaned and halved blue crabs.
- Place the crabs on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they turn red and are cooked through. Remove from the grill and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the grilled crabs to the skillet, making sure they are coated with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the Cajun crab feast hot, with crusty bread or over a bed of rice. Enjoy!
