- 2 lbs beef brisket
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup guacamole
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
- Rub the dry rub all over the beef brisket, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Place the beef brisket in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it.
- Cover the roasting pan with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 3.5 to 4 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
