  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  • Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large wok or skillet, heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil over high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli, carrots, and red bell pepper, and continue to stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp hoisin sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  • Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the wok, then pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables. Toss everything together to combine and heat through.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
