Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
- 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and red bell pepper, and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the crumbled tofu to the skillet, and sprinkle with turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin.
- Stir well to combine and cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the tofu to heat through and absorb the flavors.
- Sprinkle the nutritional yeast over the tofu scramble, and stir to incorporate. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the nutritional yeast to melt and create a cheesy flavor.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
