Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound of ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning to the cooked ground beef and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
- On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.
- Sprinkle the cooked beef evenly over the tortilla chips.
- Top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup of diced red onion, 1/4 cup of sliced jalapenos, and 1/4 cup of sliced black olives over the cheese and beef.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro over the nachos.
- Serve the nachos hot with 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/4 cup of salsa on the side for dipping.
