Ingredients
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until it starts to steam, but not boil.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger to the milk.
- Stir the mixture continuously for 1-2 minutes, until the spices are well combined and the milk is a golden color.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Pour the turmeric latte into a mug and enjoy immediately.
