Instructions

  • Stir in the black beans, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, bay leaf, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • While the feijoada is simmering, heat the cooked rice in a separate pot or microwave until warm.
  • Once the feijoada is ready, remove the bay leaf and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve the turkey sausage feijoada with the warm rice on the side. Enjoy!
