Ingredients
- 1 pound cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in 1 can of crushed tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cooked cheese tortellini to the skillet with the tomato sauce. Toss to coat the tortellini with the sauce and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the cheese tortellini with tomato sauce in individual bowls, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
