Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the tofu cubes and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • While the tofu is marinating, prepare the peanut sauce. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1/4 cup of water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and heated through. Set aside.
  • Thread the marinated tofu cubes onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the tofu skewers with the remaining 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear.
  • Serve the grilled tofu satay with the peanut sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
