Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix together 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped mushroom stems and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add the sautéed mushroom stems to the breadcrumb mixture and stir to combine.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to pack the filling in.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with a little olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
