Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 cups of bean sprouts
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon of minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of minced ginger, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Add the bean sprouts to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until they are slightly wilted.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the tofu and bean sprouts in the skillet. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu and bean sprouts evenly.
- Remove from heat and transfer the stir-fried tofu and bean sprouts to a serving dish.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot. Enjoy!
