  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup salsa

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup salsa

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture onto the thinly sliced flank steak.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
  • On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tortilla chips.
  • Arrange the cooked steak pieces over the cheese and chips.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapenos, and cilantro over the nachos.
