Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Deglaze the skillet with the white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are heated through.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine with the shrimp and sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
