Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz) of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Spread the chickpeas on a clean kitchen towel and pat them dry to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the chickpeas cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy as a snack or as a crunchy salad topper.
