Instructions

  • Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the crushed tomatoes and chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the marinara sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Gently fold in the cooked shrimp, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the pasta and sauce.
