- 4 hot dogs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Insert a wooden skewer into each hot dog, leaving enough to use as a handle.
- In a shallow dish, combine 1/2 cup of flour, cornmeal, crushed potato chips, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- In another shallow dish, whisk together the milk and egg.
- Dredge each hot dog in the remaining 1/2 cup of flour, then dip into the milk and egg mixture, and finally coat with the potato chip mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated hot dogs on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- While the corn dogs are baking, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper on a separate baking sheet.
- Bake the sweet potato fries for 20-25 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown, flipping once halfway through.
