Ingredients
- 1 pound linguine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 pounds fresh clams, scrubbed

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook 1 pound of linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of dry white wine and bring to a simmer. Add 2 pounds of fresh clams, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the clams have opened. Discard any unopened clams.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the clams. Toss to combine and coat the pasta with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Stir in 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the spicy clam linguine in bowls, garnished with additional parsley if desired. Enjoy!
