Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 30 round dumpling wrappers
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground chicken, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of grated ginger, 2 finely chopped green onions, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of chili flakes, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Place a small spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the dumpling in half, and press the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the dumplings in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2 minutes.
- Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and immediately cover with a lid. Steam the dumplings for 5-6 minutes, or until the filling is cooked through.
- While the dumplings are cooking, prepare the garlic soy dipping sauce by combining 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- Once the dumplings are cooked, remove them from the skillet and serve hot with the garlic soy dipping sauce. Enjoy!
