  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cut the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves, drizzle with 1 tbsp of olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30-40 minutes until soft. Squeeze the roasted garlic out of the cloves and set aside.
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs, parsley, dill, red pepper flakes, paprika, black pepper, salt, and the roasted garlic.
  • Add the cooked egg noodles to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with the remaining olive oil, then pour the noodle mixture into the dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the kugel is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Allow the kugel to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
