Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Bamboo skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon ground coriander, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
- Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin to the marinade, making sure it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
- Grill the beef skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
