  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 cups of cooked rice

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, and 1/4 cup of water. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add 1/2 cup of sliced carrots, 1/2 cup of sliced bell peppers, 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms, 1/2 cup of broccoli florets, and 1/2 cup of snap peas to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add 1/2 cup of sliced tofu to the center. Cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables and tofu. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and stir to combine.
  • Serve the stir fry over 2 cups of cooked rice and enjoy!
