- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- 6 slices of cheddar cheese, cut in half
- 12 slices of pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup diced onions
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together 1 pound of ground beef, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder.
- Form the seasoned ground beef into 12 small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

- Once the patties are cooked, place them on top of the cheese on the buns and top each patty with a slice of pickle.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of mustard, and 1/4 cup of mayonnaise to create the burger sauce.
- Spread the burger sauce on the top half of each bun and sprinkle the diced onions on top.
- Assemble the sliders by placing the top half of the bun on each patty and serve immediately.
- Enjoy your delicious slider burgers!
Slider burgers, also known as sliders, are small, juicy, and flavorful mini hamburgers that have been a staple of American cuisine for decades. Originating in the early 20th century, these bite-sized burgers were first popularized by White Castle, a fast-food chain in the United States. The term "slider" reportedly comes from the way the small patty slides easily on the grill. These delicious mini burgers have since become a beloved menu item in diners, food trucks, and restaurants across the country. Chefs and home cooks alike have put their own spin on sliders, adding various toppings and condiments to create unique flavor profiles. Today, the best sliders can be found in diners and burger joints across the United States, with regions like the Midwest and Northeast known for their particularly delicious versions. The key to a perfect slider lies in the quality of the beef patty, the softness of the bun, and the balance of flavors in the toppings. While traditional sliders feature a simple combination of beef, onions, and pickles, modern variations may include cheese, bacon, and gourmet sauces. Whether grilled, fried, or steamed, sliders continue to be a popular choice for those craving a tasty, handheld burger experience.
