Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- 2 tablespoons Sichuan peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons chili oil
- 2 tablespoons black vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together 1/2 pound of ground pork, 1/4 cup of finely chopped green onions, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of ground white pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- Place a small amount of the pork mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining pork mixture and wrappers.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the wontons and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain well.
- In a small saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of Sichuan peppercorns and 2 tablespoons of chili oil over low heat for 2-3 minutes, then strain the oil into a bowl.
- To make the sauce, mix together the strained chili oil, 2 tablespoons of black vinegar, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sugar in a small bowl.
- Place the cooked wontons on a serving plate, drizzle with the spicy sauce, and garnish with 1/4 cup of finely chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
