Ingredients
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon of lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of minced ginger to the skillet, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add 1 pound of shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of Sriracha sauce, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Pour the sauce over the cooked shrimp and toss to coat. Remove from heat.
- In another small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of Sriracha sauce, 1 teaspoon of lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper to make the Sriracha mayo sauce.
- To assemble the lettuce wraps, place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture onto a lettuce leaf, top with Sriracha mayo sauce, chopped green onions, cilantro, and chopped peanuts.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
