  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, marinate the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce. Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add the marinated shrimp to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the wok and set aside.
  • In the same wok, add the bean sprouts, green onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Add the cooked rice noodles to the wok, along with the remaining 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to combine the ingredients.
  • Return the cooked shrimp to the wok and toss to combine with the noodles and vegetables. Season with salt, pepper, and sesame oil.
  • Remove from heat and transfer the shrimp chow fun to a serving dish. Serve hot and enjoy!
