Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving

Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

- Stir in the crushed tomatoes and heavy cream. Simmer for 5 minutes, then add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet.
- Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the shrimp and penne vodka in individual bowls, garnished with extra parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves. Enjoy!
