Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) of firm tofu, drained and cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- Cooking oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the sesame tofu to a serving dish and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or your favorite vegetables. Enjoy!
