Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger to make the teriyaki glaze.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the teriyaki glaze over the chicken. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the used marinade.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While the chicken is grilling, pour the remaining teriyaki glaze into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the glaze thickens slightly.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, brush the thickened teriyaki glaze over the chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious Sesame Teriyaki Glazed Grilled Chicken!
