  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and toss them in 2 tablespoons of cornstarch until evenly coated.

This dish has a rich history, with roots in traditional Chinese and Japanese cuisine. It has gained popularity in the West due to its delicious combination of savory sesame, zesty ginger, and fiery Sriracha sauce. In recent years, this dish has become a staple in many Asian fusion restaurants, where talented chefs have put their own unique spin on the classic recipe.
