  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In another small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water to make a slurry. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the cubed tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the broccoli and carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Return the tofu to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sesame ginger sauce over the tofu and vegetables. Stir in the cornstarch slurry. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu and vegetables.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
